FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: ball pivot has male and female parts connected with shafts and intermediate cup-shaped part interposed between the parts. The parts has spherical working surfaces provided with sliding meshing members. The outer and inner surfaces of the intermediate part is provided with sliding meshing members which are mutually perpendicular and coupled with the members of main parts. Two diametrically arranged projections, which are projected out of the pivot center, and two diametrically arranged hollows are made on the face of the cup-shaped member. The depth of the hollows, measured from the pivot center, is equal to the distance from the pivot center to the face of the female part and is no less than the half of the shaft diameter coupled with the male part.
