FIELD: cleaning of various loose nonmagnetic materials from metal impurities sizing 0.02 mm and more. SUBSTANCE: magnetic separator includes magnetic system which consists of excitation system made of units of permanent magnets fastened with their upper planes to yoke and ferromagnetic pole concentrators immersed into flow of material under separation. Ferromagnetic concentrators installed under separator poles consist of base made in the form of flat ferromagnetic plate and ferromagnetic teeth different in height. Height of teeth varies in direction parallel to longitudinal axis of separator. Teeth are made in the form of truncated pyramids and staggered on base. EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning of nonmagnetic materials from metal impurities sizing 0.01 mm and larger. 2 dwg
