FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: tool holder has immovable body, drive shaft which output end is mounted in body for rotation, and clutch for tool mounted on opposite side of body for rotation. Clutch serves for holding and rotating the cutting tool shank. Tool holder system includes nozzle assembly positioned immovably in body and fitted with nozzle designed to direct nonrotating flow of coolant to tool channel. Tool holder system also has stationary tube which directs coolant flow from coolant source, where it is kept under pressure, to nozzle assembly. Coolant flow is isolated from rotating components located in body. Transmission assembly for transmission of rotational energy from drive shaft to clutch for tool is mounted inside body. Use of immovable nozzle assembly makes it possible to protect coolant flow against effect of centrifugal forces which might be otherwise caused by parts rotating inside body, while coolant delivery tube isolating function makes it possible to avoid use of dynamic packing glands between body, drive shaft and clutch for tool.
