FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: cutter holder includes a case, several support elements with orifices, installed on the case, and several cutter inserts with removable plates. Each cutter insert has a shank which can be mounted in a support element orifice and removed back, and a socket for cutting plate entry. The cutter can shift between fixed positions by rotation and reciprocal movement at least along an axis perpendicular to normal cutting plane of the cutter (Y axis) for individual leading of each cutting plate to rotating processed part during processing.
EFFECT: improved cutter efficiency.
