SUBSTANCE: collet chuck includes body, collet arranged in chuck body, nose ring for radially compressing collet and locking nut for axially moving nose ring in order to provide its compression-type engagement with collet. Novelty is bearing assembly arranged in chuck between nose ring and collet for applying compression efforts in direction practically parallel relative to chuck rotation axis. Locking nut and nose ring have flange portions arranged one opposite to another by their mutually opposite surfaces corresponding to spheres of balls of bearing assembly and crossing line parallel to chuck rotation axis. Collet chuck also includes o-shaped rings arranged between nose ring and locking nut in front of bearing balls and behind them for sealing bearing assembly, preventing it dusting and keeping grease. Portion of nose ring engaging with collet for compressing the last inside includes inner groove between nose ring and collet for enhancing compliance.
