FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of synthetic rubber monomers, in particular, isoprene and consists in controlling temperature and pressure in the dimethyldioxane-synthesis reactor by varying consumption of oil and aqueous layers. Temperature in the middle part of reactor is controlled by varying condensate feed into intertubular space of reactor. Temperature in the top part of reactor and reactor pressure are controlled, respectively, by feeding aqueous layer into the top part of reactor and withdrawing oil layer from the reactor product settler. Type of controlling action is chosen in dependence on ratio of arithmetic mean of temperature value over the height of reactor and specified temperature value. EFFECT: increased yield of product and reduced losses of starting reactants. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
