FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in road building, and for this purpose construction member can be realized in the form of slabs used in pavements of motor roads and airfields or in the form of sleepers for building of railway and tramway tracks. Construction member has body made of polymer-concrete material which through all its mass is fortified with wood chips. In upper layer and in lower layer, body of construction member is reinforced with glass net. Located inside construction member is reinforcing multilayer framework made up of wood boards, beams or their combinations. Boards and beams in adjacent layers are located interperpendicularly. For connection of construction members to each other, their side and end faces have wedge-shape protrusions and mating slots.
