FIELD: civil engineering, construction materials used for construction, reconstruction and repair of motor roads and railways, runways, sports grounds, elements of pavement, foundations and waysides, for reinforcement of structural layers of pavement. SUBSTANCE: proposed geological reinforcing interlayer includes grid. According to first variant novelty of proposal lies in manufacture of grid from braided strap covered by protective layer. Braided strap is produced from basalt filaments and braiding of polymer fibers is used as protective layer. In correspondence with second variant novelty of proposed geological reinforcing interlayer consists in provision of interlayer with woven or unwoven material anchored on grid manufactured by weave of braided strap. Braided strap based on basalt filaments is employed in this case. Braiding of polymer fibers is used in the capacity of protective layer. Technical result of invention in agreement with first variant lies in improved operational characteristics of geological interlayer, namely, in rise of rupture strength with decreased relative elongation in raised resistance to acids and adhesion to asphalt-concrete pavement, in improved condition to conduct construction and repair operations. In accord with second variant technical result consists in widened functional capabilities of geological interlayer with preservation of all advantages of first variant.
