FIELD: transport engineering; provision of favorable conditions for starting and operation of automobile internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: device has electric heater arranged inside detachable housing hermetically closing oil pan. Volume of space of hermetic housing is not less than sum of space volume of engine cooling system. Hermetic housing is provided with nondetachable heat insulating coating, and air inlet and air outlet holes in housing walls. Air inlet hole is connected through air duct with engine air cleaner, and air outlet hole, with engine intake manifold. Housing space is connected with compressed air source receiver through first additional pipeline furnished with shutter, and with engine cooling system drain through second additional pipeline with shutter. Each pipeline has shutter with turning mechanism. Housing bottom is provided with through hole with hermetic plug coaxial with plug of oil drain in engine oil pan. Hermetic heat exchanger pipe is passed through housing space, preferably below maximum level of cooling liquid. Intake hole of pipe is located on front wall of housing, and outlet end of pipe is coupled with storage battery case space through pipe-line. Electric heater has temperature controller in form of bimetallic relay. EFFECT: increased service line of oil in engine system. 5 cl, 1 dwg
