FIELD: pipe line transport; main oil and gas lines for chemical and wood-pulp and paper industries and metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: pipe has load-bearing envelope which consists in its turn of sealing envelope secured with load-bearing envelope. Sealing envelope has form of finned cylindrical envelope made from flexible thin-sheet material, mainly from steel, tight for medium being transported. Tight envelope has longitudinal radial folds in form of system of longitudinal fins; stiffeners of their walls may diverge tangentially in loading the pipe line with internal pressure, thus imparting acute-angled profile to fins.
