FIELD: pipe line transportation of oil and gases; municipal water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: multi-layer pipe consists of main tubular member fastened with metal tips, outer tubular member which is used for strengthening the pipe in tangential direction and protecting the main tubular member against action of outside medium and inner tubular member which is used for protecting the main tubular member against aggressive action of medium being transported. Main tubular member is made from longitudinal flexible strips possessing high strength both in longitudinal and transversal directions. Strips are laid one on another over flat spirals and are bonded by means of adhesive interlayers over entire contact surfaces. EFFECT: enhanced durability of pipes. 5 cl, 8 dwg
