FIELD: petrochemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns heat-mass-exchange apparatuses and aims at increasing reliability and extending efficient operation range of tray at the expense of passing vapor (gas) into the top section of column thereby sharply expanding it in volume. Valve tray has perforated base with valves in the form of plates provided with side walls bent downward and having facilities preventing vapor (gas) from ascent and turn to leave sideways. Plates also have side walls bent upward with descent stops less high and wide than side walls bent downward. There are axial fingers between the walls. EFFECT: increased reliability. 2 dwg
