FIELD: elongated non-rigid parts honing. SUBSTANCE: blank and honing tool are subjected to relative rotation and reciprocation in order to enhance accuracy of parameters of lengthwise and crosswise sections of honed part. At honing blank is imparted to axial stretching effort in elastic deformation range. Said effort is equal to axial component of pressure force of honing block relative to surface being worked or it is more than that value.
