FIELD: cleaning devices such as rollers. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes head 4 with suction nozzle 26 and jet 24 placed inside for directing liquid stream towards roller. In chamber 32 of said suction nozzle low pressure is sustained for removing liquid and deposited contaminants by means of air fed through gap 34 between said roller and edge 29 of nozzle. Jet 24 is spaced from inner surface 42 of suction nozzle 26 in central part of said nozzle for providing circular passage 43 between inner side of surface 42 and said jet. Said passage is connected with discharge pipe 12. Head 4 of nozzle also includes unit for supplying compressed air into chamber through gap 34 in order to entrap liquid and contaminations and to carry them to side of said passage and through said passage into discharge pipe 12 in the result of combination with suction effect in chamber 32. Compressed air in addition dries roller treated by liquid without arresting it. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning process. 20 cl, 6 dwg
