FIELD: gas-turbine plants (engines), turbo-superchargers of internal-combustion engines, and gas-expansion plants. SUBSTANCE: turbocompressor has axial-flow turbine and two centrifugal compressors whose impellers are installed on common support- mounted shaft either side of turbine. Cases are provided with pipe connections and nozzle assemblies for admission and discharge of working bodies, as well as partitions with sealing parts around shaft. Turbine case is formed by two coaxial shells. First shell is placed around turbine wheel and has nozzle assembly. Second shell is spaced through specified distance from first one; it is spherical in shape and has diametrically opposite holes and pipe connections for admitting and discharging working body; it communicates with first inclined annular partition that forms respective headers. Third shell is spaced through specified distance from second one; it is made in the form of cylindrical stiffness frame and communicates with second one through flanges fastening compressor cases. Space between second and third shells is filled with heat-insulating material. Shaft supports made in the form of gas-static bearings are mounted either side of turbine. Turbine disk is made in the form of thrust disk of double-ended annular gas-static thrust bearing. Mounted on shaft ends are antifriction bearings with flexible damping cages.
