FIELD: power engineering; gas-turbine plants burning liquid or gaseous fuel mixed wit air. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of fuel-air mixture in mixing chambers with excess air factor of α = 1,02-1,05, air supply in separate backwashes to burning zone to ensure excess air factor α = 1,5-2,0, mixing of combustion products with air at distance of 5-8 passes of the diameter of mixing chamber outlet section from its outlet edge. Device implementing this method has combustion chamber 1 and burner with mixing chamber 4, as well as disk 9 placed around mixing chamber 4 and provided with axial holes 5 to pass air to combustion chamber; mixing chamber 4 has diffuser 6 with cylindrical nozzle 7 for fuel supply coaxially arranged at its inlet; total areas of flow sections for conveying air through mixing chambers /fm/ and disk holes /Fh/, as well as for fuel passing through nozzles /Fn/ are related as Fm/Fn≅0,9•Km(ρf/ρa) 0,7≅Fh/Fm≅1,7, where ρa,ρf is air density at mixing chamber inlet and fuel density at nozzle outlet, respectively; Km is mass proportion of air and fuel at α = 1,05.
