FIELD: chemical, radio chemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: finned tube has longitudinal plates 2, 1 whose ends 3, 4 are bent over inner and outer arcs of circle respectively, interconnected and are enclosed in heat exchanger housing 5 equipped with jackets 6, 7. Located between two adjacent plates are inserts 8; in area of location of these inserts bent ends 3 and 4 are connected at clearance 10, 3 to 5 mm wide. Insert 8 has through slots with projections on either side for contact with surface of plates 1, 2.
