FIELD: pipeline fittings. SUBSTANCE: slide valve is designed to shut off pipelines containing corrosive radioactive media at high temperatures. Valve has a body with medium inlet and outlet branch pipes, hold-down shut- off member and limiters of shut-off member extreme positions. Shut-off member is coupled to frame by means of hinge mechanism. Frame is mounted for movement along guides. Medium inlet and outlet branch pipes are arranged with holes located in one plane. Shut-off member is provided with medium passage channel and pair of dead-end seats with sealed surfaces. The later are aligned with branch pipes. Hinge mechanism includes drive shaft and two pairs of links. Shaft is mounted on frame in direction transverse to that of frame motion. Two pairs of links are hinge-connected to shut-off member on one side, and on the other side links are fixed on drive shaft in pairs. Links are hinge-connected to the frame. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability under conditions of corrosive and radioactive media at (from 200 to 600 C) temperature. 2 cl, 5 dwg
