FIELD: determination of technical conditions of operating motors of fans located in solid cases, detection of faults at early stages of their development. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of diagnostics of electric motor consists in determination of its technical condition directly by pattern of external low-frequency electromagnetic field. In this case signal induced in coil of measurement element located for instance in zone of front parts of winding of stator of electric motor under action of magnetic is converted, recorded and compared with starting values of external magnetic field stored in data bank and corresponding to various operational modes of electric motor. EFFECT: diminished time for diagnostic measurements, preserved accuracy sufficient for detection of faults at early stages of their development, increased operational safety of electric equipment. 1 dwg
