FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: method for remote diagnostics of motor vehicle. To carry out diagnostics, a subsystem of the motor vehicle and its operational characteristics are selected. The motor vehicle transmits signals to the diagnostic complex representing registration data and parameters. The diagnostic complex identifies the received data, detect faults and hidden incipient defects. The integral index value is calculate using the method of factor analysis for the selected subsystem. The values of operational characteristics and calculated integral indices are retained in the respective drives. At regular time intervals, the change rate of the integral indicator is compared with the initial rate during operation, and the conclusion on occurence of incipient hidden defects leading to the pre-failure conditions is made in case of increase in the change rate more than three times. Ssignals with an estimate of the technical state of the selected subsystem and recommendations for repair are transmitted over telecommunication means to the motor vehicle.

EFFECT: improved quality of motor car and trolley diagnostics.
