FIELD: antenna engineering; high- density phased-out transmitting antenna arrays with broad scanning angle at high microwave power levels. SUBSTANCE: density of antennas in array is (d ≤ 0,5λ). Waveguide radiator has H-waveguide section shorted out on one end with metal plate, its length being λW/4, where λW is maximum working wavelength in waveguide which is electrically connected to radiating aperture of length λ/2, where λ - is maximum working wavelength in free space. Radiating aperture is, essentially, extension of upper and lower walls of H-waveguide carrying projections of at least λ/8 in length in parallel with vector E, their height on radiating aperture section gradually reducing obeying linear law to at least one third of projection height in H- waveguide. Shorting-out plate has H-shaped matched slit. EFFECT: reduced size and mass of radiator, facilitated manufacture. 2 dwg
