SUBSTANCE: linear radiator distinguished by improved matching between radiating structure component and E-waveguide has E-waveguide section, exciter, matching load, and radiating components whose length l and height d are found from relevant equations; radiating components are alternately disposed along axis of E-waveguide section either side of its central rib; butt-end surfaces of radiating components are made in the form of semicircles concave toward center of radiating component at radius chosen from equation R = 2b - t/4, where 2b is width of E-waveguide section bottom; t is thickness of central rib.
EFFECT: enlarged operating frequency passband of linear radiator.
