FIELD: electric communication, in particular, automatic tools which receives tone signals in tone frequency channels. SUBSTANCE: device has channel interface unit, band-pass filter, first, second and third linear detectors, first, second and third integrating circuits, first, second and third threshold gates, peak detector, first and second relation calculation units, first and second AND gates, register, control timer, actuating unit. Device makes decision using evaluation of three statistics which values are directly used for recognition of information acoustic signal in presence of channel noise and parasitic speech. Decision-making statistic is based on evaluation of signal power in information bandwidth, distribution of input signal power with respect to bandwidth and peak factor of input signal. Final decision on presence of acoustic signal in communication channel is done using majority rule for sequence of preliminary decisions. Secondary processing in device prevents false triggering from parasitic speech and uses unsteadiness of voice frequency constituents. EFFECT: increased precision of voice detection. 2 dwg
