FIELD: chemical industry; gas (vapor)-liquid processes. SUBSTANCE: vacuum packed sectionalized column has vertical cylindrical housing accommodating sectionalizing perforated grids installed in turn over its height and made in form of cones oriented by vertices upwards, with diameter equal to inner diameter of column housing, and centripetal sectionalizing perforated grids made in form of cones oriented with their bases upwards and tightly adjoining inner walls of column housing with angle of inclination of generatrices twice as great as that of centrifugal grids. Perforations of grids are made in form of arch slots uniformly spaced over concentric circumferences, with convexities pointed upwards. Axes of arch slots on centripetal grids are directed at acute angle towards generatrices from periphery to center in one and the same side. Packing is placed on each grid disorderly. Axes of arch slots of centrifugal grids are directed at acute angle to generatrices from center to periphery in one and the same side. Height of packing layer on each grid is equal to 2.5 linear dimensions of packing. EFFECT: increased efficiency of mass exchange between gas (vapor) and liquid owing to increased interphase mass exchange surface on free volume of packing and provision of liquid flow structure close to model of ideal displacement in horizontal plane in radial direction at complete mixing of liquid in height of packing layer in section. 8 dwg
