FIELD: sorbents. SUBSTANCE: method includes impregnating exhausted petroleum processing zeolite by furfural-acidic goudron mixture (weight ratio 69: 31 to 74:26), carbonization under carbon dioxide atmosphere, and activation in water steam atmosphere to 30-35% burns. Resultant adsorbent has sorption capacity twofold higher than mother adsorbent and fourfold higher than non-impregnated zeolite. EFFECT: increased sorption capacity.
