FIELD: foundry, manufacture of split and rigid magnetic moulds according to throw- away and permanent models. SUBSTANCE: at least one pole piece of triangular section which vertex faces model with curvilinear surface of alternating or permanent section is positioned near poles of magnetization device. Pole pieces are manufactured from material having enhanced magnetic permeability along alternating or permanent length or height of triangular cross-section. Vertex of triangular cross-section of pole piece facing model is placed near model in surface including axis of this model. Angle at vertex of triangular cross-section of pole piece facing model is chosen from range 20-29 deg. Then pole pieces and model are filled with ferromagnetic molding material that is compacted if necessary and hardened by action of magnetic field. After this model is removed. EFFECT: provision for prevention of spoilage of magnetic moulds and castings by exclusion of flocculation of curvilinear surfaces of magnetic moulds, reduced labor input thanks to manufacture of universal pole pieces. 6 cl, 2 dwg
