FIELD: welding corrosion-resistant chromium steel and building-up wear- and corrosion- resistant coatings. SUBSTANCE: electrode has alloyed rod and coating. Electrode rod is welding wire having following proportion of ingredients, mass percent: carbon - 0.03-0.12; manganese - 3.0-6.3; silicon - 0.3-0.6; chromium - 13.5-15.5; iron - the rest. Coating composition is as follows, mass percent: fluorite - 20-40; titanium dioxide - 10-20; marble - the rest. Content of titanium dioxide and fluorite in coating is found from expression , where TiO2 is titanium dioxide content; CaF2 is fluorite content in coating; Mn is manganese content in rod; Cr is chromium content in rod. EFFECT: improved quality of built-up metal without introducing ferroalloys and expensive alloying materials in electrode; improved serviceability of parts. 3 tbl
