FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied for welding or surfacing of products from 13%-chromic steels, which work in conditions of high loads, increased wearing and corrosive influence. Rod of electrode is made from steel, which contains components in the following ratio, wt %: carbon not more than 0.015, silicon 0.2-0.5, manganese 0.3-0.7, chrome 11.5-13.5, nickel 1.8-2.5, iron the remaining part. Coating contains components in the following ratio, wt %: fluorspar 35-40, titanium dioxide 20-30, metallic chrome 1-6, sodium fluorosilicate 5-15, nickel 2-8, molybdenum 0.5-4; rare-earth metal oxide 0.5-6, marble the remaining part. Liquid glass potassium-sodium to dry mixture mass 20-28.
EFFECT: electrodes ensure high resistance of built-up metal or metal of welded connection to formation of cold cracks and strength characteristics of built-up metal or metal of weld seam at the level of welded 13%-chromic steels of austenitic-martensitic class, with preservation of high indices of plasticity and impact viscosity.
