FIELD: cereal shelling method. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing wet grain to high-frequency field and simultaneously increasing field intensity from predetermined minimum to predetermined maximum value. Apparatus has feeding hopper, ready product collector and grain shelling chamber made in the form of working condenser. First facing of condenser is formed as disk making chamber bottom and earthed. Second facing is connected with high-potential output of high-frequency source and made in the form of ring portion disposed above first facing at an angle to it. First facing is positioned for rotation about axis. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved quality of ready product and reduced injure to nuclei. 5 cl, 2 dwg
