SUBSTANCE: device for removing fruit coats from grain contains a feeding hopper with a loading branch pipe, a fan with blades, a mesh working element in the form of a truncated pyramid, and a precipitator. The inlet branch pipe of the precipitator is located perpendicular to the tangent to the side precipitator surface. Inside the precipitator there is a working plate in the form of a spherical segment, installed with the concave side towards the inlet branch pipe of the precipitator. The top of the spherical segment is located on the axis of the inlet branch pipe. The diameter of the spherical segment base is 1.2…1.5 times larger than the diameter of the inlet branch pipe. The curvature radius of the spherical segment surface is 1.2…1.8 times larger than the base radius of the spherical segment.

EFFECT: device for removing fruit coats from grain provides complete destruction of the coats and effective hulling.
