FIELD: food-processing and cereal-processing branches of industry.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has feeding hopper with charging branch pipe, fan with blades, shelling chamber equipped with replaceable screw-shaped working surfaces formed from resilient material, pneumatic separator with branches for fraction separation of grain, centrifugal settler, and plate formed from resilient material and positioned at outlet end of horizontal delivery branch pipe for varying of inclination angle. Plate is positioned at an angle of 40-50 deg to side walls of delivery branch pipe and above vertical screw-shaped surface. Wire netted working tool positioned at outlet branch pipe of fan is made in the form of four-sided truncated pyramid whose sides are made from metal wire with round, square or rectangular meshes. Meshes are sized and configured depending on kind of product under process. Sizes of sides of pyramid lower base are equal to those of fan outlet branch pipe. Sizes of sides of pyramid upper base are equal to half the sizes of lower base. Height of pyramid is equal to length of larger side of base. Upper base of pyramid is extending in parallel with lower base.

EFFECT: improved quality of grain shelling process.
