WORKING MECHANISM OF MACHINE FOR CLEANING EXTERNAL SURFACE OF PIPELINE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: pipeline construction industry. SUBSTANCE: working mechanism has rotor 2 which is provided with axles 3. Installed on rotor at angle of 40-50 deg. to axles are holders which are made of lower part 4 and upper part 5. Upper part can be turned relative to lower part in plane which is perpendicular to axis of holder. Secured on upper part of holder are cleaning tools which are made in the form of disk-like brushes 7. Brushes are connected in pairs by means of axle 8 which is installed for possible rotation on bearing 9. Housing of each bearing is rigidly connected with holder. Supporting rollers are secured on housings of bearings. Aforesaid embodiment of working mechanism of pipeline cleaning machine improves operating efficiency and allows for cleaning external surface of pipelines of wide range of diameters with removing rust, scale, dirt, etc. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
