FIELD: mooring device. SUBSTANCE: device includes derrick articulated on platform for turning in vertical plane and projecting from platform above water surface in working position. Derrick is provided with at least two stops engageable with platform through respective changeable protective members, for example, mandrels. Derrick is provided with guide where weight is placed for vertical motion. Weight is made in form of frame fitted with fenders. Frame may be fixed in preset positions relative to derrick. Derrick has at least two tiers of flats provided with ladders which are used to connect flats relative to each other and to platform. Device is provided with rope-and-block system connected with movable frame; drive of this system is mounted on platform. Device is also provided with unit for turning the platform and unit for locking the derrick in non-working position. Device may be used for mooring ships in ice brush and in stranded hummock.
