FIELD: testing various structures for impact action of high-velocity strikers. SUBSTANCE: given tool is composed of tray presenting split cylindrical body made of two or more identical longitudinal parts and having obturating outside belt. Inner surface of front part of tray has collar interacting with front part of striker that rests with its rear part against tray bottom which thickness h is related to mass M of striker by relation h = h1+rM, where h1, is thickness of tray bottom for striker of minimal mass, mm; r=0.04-0.08 mm/g is proportionality factor. Height b of collar measured in plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of tray is chosen for axially symmetric striker with maximum cross- section D in agreement with relation 0,025<b/D<0,1,. If relation of D to outer diameter Din of tray satisfies inequality Din then additional obturating belt is made in outer surface of tray that has profile with concave rear surface in longitudinal section and maximum thickness over its outer perimeter. Outer surface of tray between obturating belts is cylindrical and has diameter D1 which is chosen from relation 0,8<D/D1<0,94. EFFECT: increased testing efficiency and authenticity. 3 cl
