FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has extruder for feeding working material, cylindrical base, and mold made in the form of two disks secured on parallel spindles and attached through their rims to each other with gears secured to side surfaces. Grooves made on rims over their perimeters form cylindrical cavity at contacting point of disk rims its diameter being greater than diameter of cylindrical base by twice the thickness of coating applied to it; transfer mechanism joined with extruder outlet is held tight against disk surfaces at their mating point; it has hole of diameter equal to that of safety coating receiving shut-off bush on one end, its opposite end being pressed to shaping cavity of mold; provided in side surface of transfer mechanism is hole for admitting working medium from extruder. Transverse grooves are made on rim surfaces of each disk. EFFECT: provision for shaping ribbed safety shell of any desired length with equal diameter of ribs throughout its entire length. 1 dwg
