FIELD: electrical engineering, manufacture of insulators. SUBSTANCE: process consists in coaxial installation of outer tube and inner element in the form of tube or rod. After this separable inserts and blanks of raw silicon-organic rubber are laid in sequence, then workpiece is pressed till inserts are joined together. Vulcanization is carried out in two stage: preliminary in mould and final after removal of article from mould. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process. 3 dwg
