FIELD: electrical engineering; low- voltage fuses. SUBSTANCE: fuse link is made of strip material and has full- and reduced-section portions and narrowed neck-shaped portion. Low- melting built-up metal is provided in depression contracting towards neck and made in closed loop, for example, of trapezoidal form with smaller side facing neck. Minimal width of contraction in depression should equal at least width of neck; distance from neck center to minimal width of contracted portion is 0.2-2 of minimal width of neck.
