FIELD: equipment for applying thin layers of liquid material, may be used in different branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has reservoir with piston and tip channel for discharging liquid to be applied to article surface. One of longitudinal walls of tip is provided with retainers and other wall is subjected to deformation under the action of pressure. Piston is disposed in cylinder arranged in top part of reservoir. Apparatus allows liquid to be applied by different methods, such as flushing or coating with adhesive. It may be used for painting mirrors and furniture pieces. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, simplified construction, provision for adjusting slot width and, as a result, regulation of liquid film thickness. 1 dwg
