FIELD: motor road building technology. SUBSTANCE: according to method, slabs which have to be removed as last ones are anchored relative to ground base. Then, tipping ramp is brought under non-anchored slabs so that their protruding guide members are seated on guide members of ramps. After that, slabs are lifted and loaded into containers vertically standing on platform of carrying vehicle. As containers are being filled with removed slabs, filled containers are taken out and replaced with empty containers. Application of aforesaid method allows to simplify operations of removing and placing of road pavement slabs and to increase productivity. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
