FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this particularly relates to stoping equipment of powered mining complexes. Section of support is included in set with conveyor and extracting machine or is connected to this set by advancing hydraulic jack. Section has base, hydraulic props, covering, and hydraulic cutting device mounted on cantilever of covering. Hydraulic cutting device is interlocked with advancing hydraulic jack by means of switch. Hydraulic cutting device is made in the form of head-piece which is movable along guide member and is connected by flexible hose with main hydraulic line. Guide member of head-piece is pivotally mounted on shaft. Fixing of guide member of cutting head-piece at preset angle relative to work face plane is effected by means of disk with holes and spring-biased lock. Aforesaid embodiment of powered support section allows for reducing resistance to cutting of work face due to higher pressure and enlarged area of work face open for cutting.
