FIELD: production of packing containers. SUBSTANCE: container is made as rectangular parallelepiped. It consists of two members made of packing material. One member represents bottom part with side sections coupled to it. Other member is square cover. At least two side sections are provided with coupling flaps overlapping the cover. Cylindrical sleeve which is a part of container is passed through internal holes of wound record carriers and central holes made in bottom part and in cover. Special feature of proposed container is in slits designed to receive ends of at least two side sections. These slits are made in upper end section of sleeve in direction of its circumference. EFFECT: reduced material consumption, simplified form of sleeve. 4 cl, 4 dwg
