Magnetic lines of force of this magnet are parallel to direction of substrate movement. Effective surface edge of magnet pole first along substrate motion is disposed in plane of first edge of strip. The latter clasps magnet on at least two sides. Guiding body may be placed in front of magnetically soft strip.
