FIELD: electrical engineering; DC machines with commutating poles and compensating winding. SUBSTANCE: widely known DC electrical machine with commutating field shaping device has main poles, commutating poles whose shoes are made tangentially bevelled with windings connected to amplifier outputs, armature speed transmitter, field current transmitter, main poles field circuit current transmitter connected to synchronization unit input. To improve commutation under any dynamic operating conditions of DC machine by tuning to optimum accelerated commutation and to compensate for reactive emf and emf induced in commutating zone by main pole field and transformer emf, commutating field shaping device is furnished with calculating unit whose inputs are connected with outputs of armature speed transmitter, armature current transmitter and main pole field current transmitter, and with outputs of synchronization unit. Outputs of calculating unit are connected to signal input of amplifiers supplying power to field windings of commutating poles. EFFECT: improved commutation under any dynamic conditions. 5 dwg
