FIELD: medicine, in particular, ophthalmosurgery; may be used in evaluation of effect of refraction operation. SUBSTANCE: method includes determination for operated eye of level of drop of sensitivity to image defocusing before and after operation; determination by curves of visual acuity versus defocusing degree of coefficient of stability to image defocusing as relation acuity variation in octaves to respective quantity of diopters of defocusing lens. In this case, the most important factor for evaluation of the coefficient is nonlinear section of defocusing curve. Application for evaluation of the result of refraction operation of the reaction of visual system of operated eye to change of focus setting provides for prompt and reliable determination of the refraction operation effect, choice of postoperative final rehabilitation needed correction and pharmacotherapy.
