FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring subjective refraction using optopatterns at 5 m distance (Rc) and accommodation in relative rest state on laser glass under artificial illumination at 1 m distance (Rl). The condition of Ra=Rc being satisfied, accommodation apparatus is considered to be in normal state, the received subjective refraction value is used for calculating keratotomy. Rc > Rl being satisfied, accommodation tonus is considered to be below norm and Rc is used for calculating operation parameters. Rc <Rl being the case, accommodation spasm is observed and operation is to be postponed until accommodation apparatus comes to normal state. EFFECT: high accuracy in calculating operation parameters; excluded undesirable side effects of accommodation stress. 6 dwg
