FIELD: mechanical engineering; hand electric arc welding of high alloyed steels. SUBSTANCE: electrode has rod made of low carbon or low alloy steel and coating. Coating contains component with 5-20% of titanium dioxide, 10-30% of metal carbonate, 5-20% of fluorite, 3-10% of silicate, 3-10% of ferrotitanium, alloying components chosen from group of molybdenum, vanadium, niobium and tungsten. Such coating contains chromium and nickel in amount providing content of 9.5- 30% of chromium and 0.6-19% of nickel in electrode. Manganese and ferrosilicon are introduced into coating in amount providing summary content of 1.0-2.5% of manganese and not more than 2.5% of silicon in electrode. Coating mass coefficient does not exceed 150%. EFFECT: provision of welds with high service characteristics at higher temperatures. 5 cl
