FIELD: cleaning equipment. SUBSTANCE: cleaning device of sweeping roll 1 of printing machine has set of cleaning members which are in contact with sweeping roll surface and have brushes 4 and/or scrapers 3, as well as row of nozzles 7, which burst out washing liquid. First washing member 5 is made from textile tape material, preferably from porous synthetic filaments. Tape is folded in two and arranged on and along rigid support 6 so as to cover it, with edges of tape projecting beyond support edges. Such construction allows roll surface to be maintained in good condition. EFFECT: increased efficiency in cleaning printing machine and reduced maintenance cost of cleaning roll. 4 cl, 2 dwg
