FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: content of component in multiple- component mixture is measured with mixture dielectric constant as function of qualitative composition and dielectric constants of its components being known. Two different electromagnetic fields are built up in cavity filled with mixture being analyzed and its resonant frequencies are measured. Inner wall of cavity is covered with dielectric layer Ed and first and second electromagnetic fields excited in this layer (Ed) are such that mean value of modulus square of normalized components of electric strength vectors in direction of tangents to layer surface that does not abut against cavity wall are different for each field. Volume content of component is determined by measured resonant frequencies. EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy and informative capacity of mixture parameter measuring channel. 3 dwg
