FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used for high-precision measurement of physical properties of substances which are components of three-component substance, stationary or transported via pipeline. In particular, this method can be used for determining composition of substance in the stream of extracted and transported oil being, in fact, three-component two-phase substance (oil, gas, water). Method for measuring composition of three-component water-containing substance in the stream, when the substance is exposed to electromagnetic waves in two frequency ranges and based on exposure results its dielectric permeability is determined using the corresponding radio-wave sensors and measuring one of informative parameters of each of them, where the frequencies of these waves correspond to different values of water dielectric permittivity, and frequency of at least one of these waves is selected in microwave range, herewith, the substance is additionally exposed to electromagnetic waves in the third frequency range of microwave range of frequencies corresponding to value different from the other two values of water dielectric permittivity, when using the corresponding radio-wave sensor and measuring one of its informative parameters, combined functional conversion of measured values of sensor informative parameters is performed in said three frequency ranges, based on this conversion composition of substance is determined as volume content of each of three substance components.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is higher rate of obtaining primary information on parameters of flow moved through the pipeline, as well as determination of component-wise composition of oil-water-gas mixture.
