FIELD: medicine, food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing hematogen from animal blood. Hematogen has black food albumin, starch syrup, vanillin, whole condensed milk with sugar, granulated sugar and, additionally, ferrous (II) sulfate heptahydrate, hazel nut at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: ferrous (II) sulfate heptahydrate, 0.1-0.5; hazel nut, 5.0-10.0; black food albumin, 4.0-5.0; starch syrup, 18.6-23.0; vanillin, 0.01-0.015; whole condensed milk with sugar, 30.0-33.0; and granulated sugar, the balance. Hematogen shows tonic and curative properties. EFFECT: enhanced curative and nutrient properties, increased energy value, improved taste quality.
